I have it on good authority that your pets are there in Heaven. My mother was 88 and in hospice with me here at my home. The nurse and I were attending her as she started to pass. The nurse asked her, “Mrs. Fleming are you in any pain? What do you see?” She answered that she felt no pain and that she saw my brother (who was killed in Vietnam) and my daughter (who died when she was 9 yrs old). They were walking along the other side bank of a river and there was a picnic on the their side. She said they were calling to her and waving to come over. In my little girl, Jennifer’s arms was my mother’s toy poodle. He had died trying to save my daughter from a vicious German Shepard dog that had attacked her. My daughter lived another 4 years but died from the results of that attack. My mother died 30 minutes after telling us of her Heavenly vision.
Cynthia, what a wonderful testimony, and great comfort. I’m so sorry to hear about how your daughter was injured and died. Likewise your brother, who died serving his country. God bless you and your family. As for the poodle, this story illustrates something I’ve always believed… that even tiny dogs will desperately try to defend their family even in the face of deadly peril.

If my pets won’t be in Heaven, I don’t want to go.

It won’t be Heaven if there aren’t any dogs.

Seems like a very good use for a halo, actually.

All of my pets have a much better chance of ending up there than I do.

I’m convinced that dogs were created to teach us unconditional love, and cats were created for us to practice it…
