Nelson is every bit as sensitive as you are Earl.

As long as Brian Crane writes this strip Earl willbe alive.

While they’re waiting, Earl can teach Nelson how to tell time on a watch with hands.

I love my wrist watch. A Timex with BIG numbers that I can see. If you push the stem, it lights the dial so that you can see what time it is when it is nighttime.

milania: Agree. I thought that was why wrist watches replaced the pocket watch.

That’s a little extreme isn’t it. Kids have a favorite relative and often want a memento. It’s kind of like a little girl wanting to grow up and marry Daddy or Grandpa. Nothing to it.

Remember “The Bad Seed,” grandpa! That nice old lady told Patty McCormack that she would leave her something nice when she passed on, the next thing she knew she had “tripped” and fell down a flight of stairs!
