Having grown up with walnut and almond trees on our property, I can say with some degree of certainty that the kid has almond SKIN stuck in his teeth. The husk is the outermost covering, followed by the shell, then the skin and finally is the nutmeat. Unless of course, he picked and bit into the almond before harvest time.

Both are bad in different ways. Oftentimes I can’t get something paper thin out even with floss.
