    Don’t ask me how I remember this, but the TV show Buck Rogers in the 25th Century had an episode entitled “Space Vampire”.

    Vlad the Impaler lived in the 15th century. The story of Dracula debuted near the end of the 19th.

    Okay, obviously none of you have read the original novel or you would know that daylight does NOT destroy vampires (that was invented for the movies) it does, however, render fairly powerless.
