Yea; perfectly depicts our âboomingâ(?) Saskatchewanian society right now. The rich are getting richer while the middle-class heads towards extinction!!!! These business geniuses(?) and their cohorts in govât never did figure this out: Ruin the middle class and there goes your tax base; no wonder so many cities and states are so deep in the red. The poor can not pay any taxes because the have NO money anyway and the rich WONâT pay taxes; of course with the help of tax lawyers and accountants and âloopholes"âŠ.
But as we insist the rich pay more taxes, the rich in turn pass their taxes on to the rest of us in the way of goods and services. Therefor it is the ârest of usâ who actually end up paying their taxes. Make sense?
I seem to remember that Joel & Rufus live in the junkyard so it is logical that they walk around there. However, I donât think they own it so they wouldnât be allowed to sell anything from it.
