For fifty pounds, name this breed of dog! Bloodhound! But how? It's a beagle, you silly man! Huh! Of course, anyone can see it's a beagle! Incorrect, I'm afraid- it is, in fact, a basset hound! Shame on them!
the only way basset owners would not be able to identify a picture of a basset, is if the picture is a close up of an eye a tail or something non-basset identifying
Go easy on them, Fred. Sometimes Bassets end up with shorter ears than they should, so at the right angle, they could look a LITTLE like a beagle.. But I can always tell the difference.
