the year may be over but the strip continues

This is the grown-up perspective. The older you get the faster the years fly by.

A normal reaction for an adult. To a child, the year has not gone by quickly.

Me thinks Lucy realizes she has to spend another year with CB.

This should have run on New Years Eve – Tuesday.

And notice Lucy while saying “AAUGH” turned red in panel 3?

Hopefully Monday we might begin 1967 Peanuts episodes unless we go back or go forward. (There might be one more 1966 Peanuts Sunday episode tomorrow unless it is snubbed out by a different year).

@Number ThreeThanks for your sweet note yesterday. Yes, my Christmas was very good. I thought about you, which made it even better. :-) Hope yours was good, too. Getting my car worked on at the moment. Not very happy about the cost - the clutch has to be replaced. Ouch. Other than that, I am hoping to have a pretty decent weekend. I’m looking forward to the New Year and hoping yours is wonderful, too! Hugs and kisses back at ya!xxx

It seems that the years get shorter every time around.

And Mom and Dad can hardly wait for school to start again (poor Lucy).

Kinda nice to see Lucy freak out instead of Charlie Brown for a change.

She spends almost every day of the year doing the thing she loves best which is being a great big bully.
