I’ve never been in a fast food place where they had table service. In fact, I thought that was the difference between fast-food and a regular restaurant, at the former, you don’t get table service but you don’t have to tip anyone.
OldestandWisest: Fast food is prepared before ordering. Sometimes when they have run out of your order, they will give you a number and bring it to you when completed. Rare, but it does happen.
At Culver’s you place the order, then you get a number to take back to your table, and then they bring your order to you. They are a fast-food joint mainly found in the upper Midwest.
