My house is a 2 story Cape. We have laundry chute sin the upstairs and downstairs bathrooms. No complaints from the kids about cleaning their rooms. Just pick up everything, and throw it down the chute to the basement laundry.
Some amazing stuff found on laundry day. But the house always looked pretty good.
