Don’t worry folks. Dixie Drive will be re-directed to Wide Open! Next week. I wish I could put a link to the interview the local paper did about the switch (The Main Drag through our town is Dixie Drive, so folks were upset) it explains everything. Here’s the thing: Dixie Drive is really all about Small Town life but with a decidedly Southern bent. The cartoon will still be about small town life and sometimes have a Southern twang to it but I’ll feel more comfortable being able to stretch my legs now and again and make fun of EVERYONE. I’m sure you’ll still like it. Today’s cartoon is certainly not “Southern”, it could be anywhere. The possibilities are now Wide Open!

Wow, sorry to see Dixie Drive leave. I hope the humorous portrayal of southern life will continue at Wide Open.
