I have Type II Diabetes. It does not affect my mobility in the least. My doctor offers me a handicap tag application every time I go in for a check-up. I can assure you that I am probably his only patient who declines. I have to assume all endocrinologists offer this to their Type II patients. How many do you think refuse?
My type II diabetes is not why I have a handicap license plate. It’s my lungs. Asthma, asbestosis, emphysema…….diabetes don’t help! Walking any real distance wears me out. I have to stop and rest when going to the road in front of my house to get the mail.

When did he learn to drive? No, really, I thought he could not drive, hence the chauffeur or trophy-wife did the driving.
