Todayâs was okay but fairly predictable. Loved the classics, Linda Deanâs posters, Sandfanâs âHollywood Squaresâ, and of course, Number Sixâs âJailbirdsâ!
Thanks. It was okay and finished up nicely. I talked to my cousin Laura late when she called and even had some words (good ones) with hubby, Mike. -The current strips are a little too in the nice zone. Poor Reg is rolling in his keg. -I read those same ones except for Buckets and Marmaduke. Useta read the âMarmâ in print years back. -Rohn had a short day yesterday and then we went out and shopped some stuff. I will be here tomorrow as he had to go in today. He is usually off Thursday. If we donât get enough done then I guess I will be here Saturday too as it is his day off also. ________________________________________________
I agree with you when you say that Reg Smythe must be rolling in his âkegâ -I loved the strips where Andy & Flo had âaccentsâ and the rounded off words. I loved the domestic violence too. I liked the word âBOPâ when Andy & Flo used to punch each other.-Marmaduke is a lovely strip. I love his innocent faces when heâs done something wrong and is about to get told off. -Glad you had a nice phone chat with Laura & Mike. My cousin and I text each other funny stuff. For example, When Iâm due to give blood he starts off with how big the needle is going to be when I go.-I hope your Friday has started off great!
The trouble is that we have had so many Scots Prime ministers, lately that they favoured their own country for marine contracts..Here in Devon, we have a thriving dockyard (military) that is now concerned that Itâs days might be numbered.
oh, but Eldo, can you see them jitterbugging? I dont see Nick Nolte but a slim John Steinbeck with a girl of the calling â with her hair twirling and her feet swirling and a good time being held by allâŠhell yeah, pass me my paycheck and a wooden nickle for the cannery row saloon and I will make you rue the day you thought of this novel! er, excuse me, I was talking to J.S., and intending it too!

More âSquaresââŠ
Q. As you grow older, do you tend to gesture more or less with your hands while talking?
A. Rose Marie: You ask me one more growing old question Peter, and Iâll give you a gesture youâll never forget.
Q. Paul, why do Hellâs Angels wear leather?
A. Paul Lynde: Because chiffon wrinkles too easily.
Q. Charley, youâve just decided to grow strawberries. Are you going to get any during the first year?
A. Charley Weaver: Of course not, Iâm too busy growing strawberries.
Q. In bowling, whatâs a perfect score?
A. Rose Marie: Ralph, the pin boy.

Cannery Row is one of my favorite books of all time. The writing flows as much as the liquor!
