    It’s simple. In our litigious society, it is easy to find a jury that consists of people who willing to help the prosecution win the lawsuit lottery.

    1) Because no one can live long enough to carry out a proof with simple operations, and only a very small number of people possess the mathematical knowledge to even attempt a practical proof.

    2) Zen, the Middle Way, depends neither entirely on meditation not entirely on reason. Meditation makes possible correct reason, and reason gives form to meditation. Without both, there is no insight.

    3) Your premise that everyone agrees is patently false. Therefore, your question is meaningless. Ron Paul would be proud of you, for which you should be ashamed.
