So Janet just did bubble baths since then?

The stabbing scene never showed Janet Leigh being stabbed. It took place behind the shower curtain and then showed blood running down the drain. I doubt that Janet Leigh was even in that scene.

My mother saw “Psycho” when it first came out, and she refused to take showers for decades, taking baths instead.

Also, that wasn’t Perkins’s silhouette in the curtain. He looked too distinctive.…Somehow I thought the tea would reach a greater price collectively.

Hitchcock always claimed that the knife never actually made contact with Renfro’s body, but if you freeze-frame the sequence, you can see that that isn’t true. In the (very brief) shot of the knife blade against her abdomen, the point of the knife clearly presses into her skin. (Not painfully, I hope)…

It was Janet Leigh’s stand-in that was raped and murdered, Myra Davis. Marli Renfo was indeed the shower scene body double, and is still alive.
