I too find the strip “cool” as well as appealing, however part of having things in the “right place” is having them identifiable. It was always obvious Snoopy was lying on a doghouse and that it was outdoors. Also I am not debating individual style or the validity of minimalism, I am speaking of clarity in design and delivery of message. Sometimes artists become too caught up in showing off and muddy their message. I think Mr. Rodriguez is very talented and I am looking forward to seeing more of his work.

Confusing. Definitely could use some cues as to location, setting . Style is a wonderful thing to have but clarity is equally if not more important.

In the forth panel, he wasn’t smiling and there was a large amount of something on his head.
