(We can't all be as great as her.) Mrs. Godfrey: I'm handing back your tests. They were Very disappointing, people. Lately she has been giving us surprise quizzes in class! BOGUS! Today she asked me: Mrs. Godfrey: What's the third largest city in Brazil? Nate: Yeah, like I'll need to know this in twenty years! Mrs. Godfrey: Can anyone help Nate out? Help him out, people! CLAP! “Yeah, like I’ll need to know this in twenty years.” That comment, maybe the entire panel, maybe even the entire strip on this day!! This is the comic that started it all. From jubilees when Mrs. Godfrey’s gone and depressions when she’s here, to insulting drawings/names of her, I now refer to this comic and wonder why this hatred over Mrs. Godfrey is getting out of control sometimes. This started it all.
