Considering he is still in the 6th grade in 20 years, he still needs to know social studies.

“Yeah, like I’ll need to know this in twenty years.” That comment, maybe the entire panel, maybe even the entire strip on this day!! This is the comic that started it all. From jubilees when Mrs. Godfrey’s gone and depressions when she’s here, to insulting drawings/names of her, I now refer to this comic and wonder why this hatred over Mrs. Godfrey is getting out of control sometimes. This started it all.

It’s true though. I guess I could get why you should learn about government, or slavery, or wars, or discrimination. But seriously, you will never need to know what the 3rd largest city in Brazil is.
