The only person who gets a present at Christmas is our 17 month old grandson. Our extended family doesn’t believe in exchanging presents between adults.Christmas doesn’t need to be commercialised. It’s a time of excitement for the young.
Group gift-giving is really nice, especially if the recipients can exchange within the group and we all have similar tastes. There WILL be a gift exchange at the Baronial archery event and outdoor breakfast this month. I will be taking a book on cord weaving, bought for myself before I decided that I have TOO many hobbies already – so never read, but someone in the group will LOVE it. I will also take cookies for the pot luck!

What Rita doesn’t know is that when Dana got the gifts, she got a gift card with each gift that she forgot to tell Rita about.
