Elizabeth: Sometimes I fantasize about having my own apartment... nobody to nag. No one to pick up after or worry about. Nobody else's laundry or cooking to. Everything would stay clean and neat and in its place. Mind you - I'd miss John and the kids. I'd miss the love, and the chatter and the companionship, and the daily goings on. Still... sometimes I wish I had my own apartment...

I DO have my own apartment (going on 7 years) and it’s a mess anyway.

Having your own apartment might mean there’s no one else to care… if it’s a mess, or not.
