In the early eighties, I introduced some Japanese friends to the loaded watermelon. You cut an opening in the melon and put as much vodka in, or everclear, as it will hold. between bottles you need to let it soak in for a few minutes. When fully saturated, let it cure and serve after chilling. No need for a glass.
