    IMO, the best “fly in my soup” gag was the one in Mel Brooks’ Silent Movie. If you haven’t seen it, see it.

    Once ordered Buttermilk with my lunch. as I was drinking discovered a large lump bit it thing was ice, was crunchy retrieved on to napkin was huge fly
