    Simple physics, . . . The sum of the forces on an object is equal to the total mass of that object multiplied by the acceleration of the object. In more technical terms, the acceleration of a body is directly proportional to, and in the same direction as, the net force acting on the body, and inversely proportional to its mass, F=ma.

    No quarters, no force.

    My brother, our buddies and I used to pile on those rides. We’d put in a quarter and watch the pony struggle against our combined mass. Ahhh, I miss those days of taking child’s entertainment to it’s mechanical limits.
