Perhaps Elly has it wrong. Perhaps all Mr. Patterson needs is a nice hug from his daughter to make him feel better.
I think it’s Michael who is advising Lizzie in the third panel. I agree though. A hug from his kids couldn’t hurt. ;)
Everybody is acting caring here. Move along. Nothing to see. :-)
Good job to Lynn for flipping the perspective in panels 3 and 4, you can see John’s reverse silhouette in panel 3. Nice touch!
Nice one today!
With my dad, bugging out eyes preceded a good pop on the fanny if you got in range.
Micheal’s words are good advice for us all.
I own a copy of “The Bestest Present” and it is very well done. It is a very nice representation of this strip.
When I was growing up, I learned at a young age that when Dad’s forehead went red, he was not in the kind of mood kids want to interrupt.
Wait…these are reprints of previous strips? I thought she rebooted the strip to create new stories.
Oh well there are good days and bad ones.
Thanks…would have been nice if there had been some announcement like when the original run was over. I thought I was reading new strips. But since i never read them as a young child, they seem new to me.
