If we quit wearing wool and eating mutton there will be no need for us to feed or tend sheep.

I agree. It’s time the human race realized that what it’s doing is really detrimental to themselves as well as to the land.

I am allergic to most wool because it is woven in short scratchy strands. I wear a lot of silk, cotton and linen because I choose fabrics for the texture. The sweater in this avatar is of a heavy stranded silk knit (very warm and comfortable).

Rory should be glad to be shorn come summer. That would be awfully hot otherwise.
