I have an antique knitting stand that I keep balls of yarn in just for looks. My elderly cat used to pull the balls out and walk around the house meowing (as well as one can with a ball of yarn in ones mouth) as soon as he saw someone looking at him he would drop it and walk away, as if to say “wasn’t me”. Pretty funny. He’s almost 18 now and on his last legs, but a great cat.
Happy, re: last night! You are lucky seeing all that you see at the ocean! I would gladly live where you are. It’s just the decadence of LA I would not like! LOL, Eldo!
Cuddles was willing to share and teach the dogs how to have fun with the yarn. But, NOOOOO, they have to be mean and tease with it. That’s dogs for you. Chefwen – what a cute story about your cat.
I just have to say that I really feel sorry for Cuddles. I agree with Perkycat …! (and, I would just like to believe that my little dog, Max, wouldn’t be so mean.)
I love the pet photos; especially the dogs. So, how do you get a picture in the comment area? I tried drag and drop, and all I get is the physical location of the image. I must be missing something.
Happy Sweetheart looks like she is saying “Oh PLEASE, WOULD YOU STOP TAKING PICTURES OF ME, OR OH NO, NOT AGAIN! HE’S GOT THAT DANG CAMERA CONTRAPTION THING POINTED AT ME AGAIN”! SHE IS GORGEOUS! I miss my doggies, though, I love my rescue cats too. Too small a house, too many, 5 cats. Although my youngest says, “Mom, get a LITTLE dog”! I said, “Yeah your dad would love that”! Sarcasm! Hey, maybe I WILL! ROFLAMO! Since youngest and I do the work involved anyway! :-D

It was a fine irony that I first tried to reply to your “Image posting instructions” JPEG without recognizing it was a broken link!
