Very apt observations Fergus or should I say, Minnesota Fergus.Good morning Grog, Dry, sugie and the hustling Citizens of Dog.

One of the best years ever for fireworks on the lake. I swear it is better than going into town to watch the big city display. No crowds, they last longer here and the residents pullout all the stops on monumental displays.

Its 11:45pm here and they are still going strong. Ya want to yell “incoming!” every 2 minutes. :Last nite, at twoam, you would hear “whump” and then you knew a huge BANG was coming! Suppose to stop at midnight tonite, but won’t. Sigh

Very few fireworks tonight. Skippy is thankful, as am I, less whimpering, drooling, and whining. It helps that he is going deaf, poor old guy.

AKA beggars, mooches, freeloaders, but we love them and what are ya gonna do?

Watched all the big displays down in the Valley. One of the finales lasted over 15 minutes!

mmmmHHMMM. That’s why I’m glad we have Border Collies; WORKING dogs, doncha know. And if we ever get sheep (in our fenced-in suburban back yard) our dogs will be ON it!
