I live on the coast in Oregon.I wash my car in the rain.

I get the house windows washed twice a year, as soon as the guy is finished and loading his ladder onto the truck it starts raining. It. Never. Fails.

It’s a good thing they don’t live in League City. They could get arrested for wasting water like that.

This used to happen to my late father all the time. When we lived in Worthing which is a southern coastal town in England we had a drought and a hose pipe ban that prevented him from using his hose pipe to clean his car. After 3 weeks of the dry and dust his car (and pride and joy) looked really bad so he decided to just spray it down with the hose pipe. 2 hours after cleaning his car the heavens and we had the first fall of rain in 6 weeks. His face was priceless. I won’t repeat what he said as it was very much X rated! Of course we all thought it was hilarious.

Good afternoon Fellow Baby, cleo, SUGIE and all ye’ gathered here.

Saturday was bright sunshine all day and its been sprinkling on and off since yesterday (Sunday) in Minnesota.

No downpours… yet!

I hurt my back this afternoon. I bent over, slightly, to pick up a folded sheet at a clients home, so i could make that bed and something pulled/strained…Whatever it was, I’ve done it before. Worse than this.Im just happy that it happened on my Friday.Another caregiver is going to do my six to eight pm shift.Im going to spend the next two days doing as little as possible. This sucks because Wednesday was supposed to be nice. I wanted to get some things done in the yard, preparing for spring.…and how am i supposed to walk my dog?This sucks. Getting older sucks.

All the time this time of year.The mouth of the Siletz river at the Taft district in Lincoln City is full of stuff.
