When I was really little, we traveled across the country several times…
When I was about five, my Dad gave me a map.
I asked him why I never saw the land turn pink or blue or whatever when we crossed a state border.
So… he told me the grass covered it up!
He said if I dug a hole I could see the color.
I almost believed him…. till I somehow realised it was a joke….
but I still think he was waiting to see me try it.
