Big Nate by Lincoln Peirce for March 19, 1993
Transcript:
Francis: You know, I've noticed something about the comics you draw. None of the characters ever does anything right! Nate: Exactly! Failure is a lot funnier than success! That's why my characters are so inept! They're always tripping over their own feet, walking into walls, getting hit by cars... Basically, they're clumsy idiots! Francis: So they're autobiographical, eh? Nate: Ha ha. Yes, they all have geeky best friends.
