I watched a local police officer nearly lose it in the median of what passes for a freeway here in Darkest Saskatchewan. It was at 95 km/hr in morning rush minute traffic. Distracted driving, indeed… He was reading his computer screen.
Meanwhile, on my bicycle one day, I had the fun of watching a pair of uniformed police officers cruising through the park on their mountain bikes. When the male officer decided that the road was easier to ride on than the pathway (which had lots of people walking), I called LOUDLY to him to ask if he was aware that he was driving the wrong way on a one-way street. Hey, they’re supposed to set a good example, aren’t they? And bicyclists are supposed to obey traffic laws.
