And Daylight Savings Time begins Sunday too, Charlie Brown. You just can’t catch a break…

In the USA, they have gradually made Daylight Savings Time longer and longer..I remember when it started the first Sunday in April and ended the last Sunday in September..This year in the USA, it does start tomorrow and ends the first Sunday in November..

And of course in places like New Zealand and Australia, Daylight Savings Time ENDS the first Sunday of April.Not sure what South America does.

Why should this season be different from any other?

Arizona does not change their clocks to DST, so their time is the same as Pacific Daylight time. .In parts of Alaska, such as Fairbanks and Anchorage, already skewed with standard time not corresponding to their geography, when they switch to DST it’s like double or triple DST, and children are going to school in the dark. Some in AK want to do away with DST.

Why don’t the powers that be just change it by 1/2 hour and leave it there ?

I keep hearing that we need to return to standard time or the kids will go to school in the dark. But they still go to school in the dark after the change, so I’m wondering why the schools just don’t start later.

That’s how I feel when the baseball season starts for me as well.

When you’re Charlie Brown, the seasons do kinda tend to run together.

I know how you feel Chuck, that’s just like my work week!

Many of us non-baseball players can relate to that.
