In the USA, they have gradually made Daylight Savings Time longer and longer..I remember when it started the first Sunday in April and ended the last Sunday in September..This year in the USA, it does start tomorrow and ends the first Sunday in November..
Arizona does not change their clocks to DST, so their time is the same as Pacific Daylight time. .In parts of Alaska, such as Fairbanks and Anchorage, already skewed with standard time not corresponding to their geography, when they switch to DST itās like double or triple DST, and children are going to school in the dark. Some in AK want to do away with DST.
I keep hearing that we need to return to standard time or the kids will go to school in the dark. But they still go to school in the dark after the change, so Iām wondering why the schools just donāt start later.
