I worked on a project in Canada, and the Canadians took several of us Americans curling. I think it was invented by someone who was terribly bored and had nothing better to do in the dead of Winter.
I always wondered why it was called “Curling” then one lazy Sunday afternoon I was channel surfing and came across an event in Toronto that was being shown. After a few minutes of watching I curled up and went to sleep….
