    I know it’s a rerun. I never found out what Zipper’s dorm mate’s name is. He is the non-Zipper. He takes his education seriously and has a sense of direction.

    Ah. So my carefully worked out deduction that this week was being cleared so he could tie up some loose ends was completely wrong…

    See you Sundays; since I have the 40th anniversary book I have plenty of reruns to choose from whenever i want.

    GT’s mother passed away. Personally, it would take a while for me to get “back to work” with all the details of death.

    I’m catching up on old Doonesburys in the hiatus. I’m up to 1-13-72. I was living in CT in the 70s; maybe The Hartford Courant didn’t carry Doonesbury because the old strips are new to me.

    The Hartford Courant carried Doonesbury from the beginning, but on the editorial (rather than comics) page.

    1974 printing of The World of Doonesbury, a box set of 5 smaller paperbacks, “Call Me When You Find America”, “Guilty, Guilty, Guilty” , “What Do We Have for the Witnesses, Johnnie?”, “Dare To Be Great, Ms. Caucus” and “Wouldn’t a Gremlin Have Been More Sensible?”. I can rerun back to the beginning! Woo Hoo!

    @bawana

    Nobody (or probably very few) really cares that you can’t stand your useless life unless you provoke decent folks with your meaningless comments. But I thank you for the minuscule entertainment you have provided us real people today. Don’t take this too seriously. I only meant 99% of it.

    Normally, he’s a troll. Sometimes he makes sense. Maybe we just bring out the worst in him….

    Seems that Mr. Trudeau has had a lot on his plate, even before his Mother’s passing. Perhaps he has (sensibly) decided to only burn two ends of the candle at once, so the light will last longer while illuminating some new corners.

    When can we start to see reruns from before the last few years.
