It would be… 1: Remove the bonnet screw.2: Remove the shade.3: Take out new light bulb from this box4: Remove old light bulb, place in this box5: Place new light bulb into socket, turn6: Replace shade7: Replace bonnet screw.8: Dispose old light bulb safely

With his demonstrated technical ability, I would suggest that Ray unplug the lamp first.
