I’ve always wondered why is Andy playing athletics if he’s so lazy.

Is there a law that says you have to have 6 panels? I agree with you Gweedo, the first one can go, and it still would work. Don’t understand Andy’s grin either. Picky, picky, I know.

A red card is a straight sending off, so Andy won’t get to play any of the match.

I can’t remember who said it about whom, but the gist of it was: “People take an instant dislike to him—it saves time!”

@2old but not reallyAndy is grinning in the first panel because somebody told him that today’s strip would be funny for a change.

Gweedo – legal tender for all debts public and private – Murray said, about 23 hours agoDoug makes regular trips down to Phoenix for the start of spring training for the Denver baseball team (Colorado Rockies). He loves that sort of thing.-Some more curtains got put up yesterday and as long as kitty is not a curtain puller, she can come anytime. -In spring of ‘88 I had a can of tuna one evening along with some raw veg’tables….. next day I was quite ill. Queasy stomach and light headed feeling. I could have barfed but didn’t; don’t really enjoy that experience. It was bad enough that I didn’t go into work that day. I just know that it was the durn veggies that did it !!! That tuna was a freshly opened can and wound up being the last meat thing I would eat. Ate lottsa dairy after that before transitioning off it too.-Sat. is sunny and only breezy, so far. -Will be going to Jim Pettibone’s “celebration of Life” for his recently departed wife. He is an old friend of Joe’s and I sorta know him from walks through the neighborhood. -See ya, sunny Sunday !_________________________________________________Cool! I’m not much of a sport fan myself as you can see by my first comment on this strip.-I’ve trained Kitty not to pull curtains… Wait… Have I? Oops. LOL.-Sorry to hear about the bad veggies. They were probably the processed ones. My first symptom of food poisoning was shoulder aches. How weird is that? At first I thought nothing of it and tried to get back to sleep. The ‘barfing’ followed shortly after… I still cringe every time I think of that. Never again. -I used to love tuna and mayo. But I soon went off it…-My condolences to Jim for the loss of his wife. -Have a nice and peaceful Sunday.

I loved the top part of your comment. Good for your Mum! Somebody needed to get those mischevious fluffballs in order!-Sorry for missing the sarcasm. I’ve seen people use this symbol: (!) to express sarcasm, I’ve used it myself a few times. I did tell you though that everything goes past me.-Sometime last year, I ate something which had gone off and I didn’t even realise it until later on when I had nearly finished them. They were a meat product too so I thought “That’s it I’m going to get food poisoning again” but I was extremely lucky because I didn’t get it after all. I was an idiot to eat them but I didn’t realise they tasted funny until I almost finished them all.-I like milk. Especially when it’s cold. Very refreshing.-Glad to hear the service went well. I bet the photos were lovely. I like watching slideshows. I think they look cool. My thoughts are with Jim.-See you tomorrow!

I used to love “Red Dwarf”, and now the theme song has suddenly become an ear worm for me (or against me?) (Thanks, pcolli and Gweedo!)

For those who don’t know, here are the “Red Dwarf” theme music lyrics. (No, no, I refuse to post a link, and besides, as Red Green reminds us, “Any tool can be the right tool, and any music can be the right music.”) So bleedin’ there! And here we go…………..

Its cold outside, there’s no kind of atmosphere,I’m all alone, more or less.Let me fly, far away from here,Fun, fun, fun, In the sun, sun, sun.

I want to lie, shipwrecked and comotoase,Drinking fresh, mango juice,Goldfish shoals, nibbling at my toes,Fun, fun, fun, In the sun, sun, sun,Fun, fun, fun, In the sun, sun, sun.

I’ll pack my bags and head into hyperspaceWhere I’ll succeed at time-warp speedSpend my days in ultraviolet raysFun, fun, fun, In the sun, sun, sun.

We’ll lock on course straight through the universeYou and me and the galaxyReach the stage where hyper-drive’s engagedFun, fun, fun, In the sun, sun, sun,Fun, fun, fun, In the sun, sun, sun.
