You pay yourself first, that is, put some aside, then go for the clothes, trip or whatever your heart tells you.
My biggest bonus was $3000 (back in 1996). I used 1/2 to pay my dad remainder of (interest free) car loan, and bought a fur coat on sale with the rest (had always wanted one). The furs are so pretty, I still get compliments every time I wear it.
