Isn’t it odd that the ONLY thing familiar to me in this story arc is that Ted was successfully playing TWO gender roles. I recall at the time thinking of Bobbi as the equivalent of Lois Lane who was completely fooled by Clark Kent’s glasses. We all said, “How dumb was she?” Except my mom, who said, “Lois was probably distracted by the bulges in the tight Superman outfit and never really looked up at his face.”
So it really is the same Ted, not just two people with the same name? Or is Jane as confused as the rest of us? Or is Bobbie just calling Ted her “husband” as camo?

Has it ever been explained why she didn’t know her husband was female? That just seems really strange to me.

I have trouble keeping track of the people in this strip and now the dialogue is confusing.Guess I’ll go read (or look at) Henry.
