I love Claire, but her phobias are becoming a bit much. I try to keep things that don’t belong in the house OUT, but (as I dislike using chemical poisons even more) I just do the best I can to do so, and keep things clean and sealed. I like having the doors and windows open whenever possible, and will have no problem with camping either.
Lamberger: I have noticed a decrease in such problems since the immigrant Mediterranean geckos took up residence around our house. Saw one on the window (yes, bare glass) catch a lightning bug. It kept flashing inside the gecko for a couple of minutes.

If it’s not one thing, it’s another. Next she’ll probably be obsessing about something in the kitchen downstairs. Getting really tired of her!

Spiders have to live somewhere!

At least the spiders keep the cockroaches under control and as a result, the restaurant open and a low-cost apartment available to them.

And, if you’re really lucky, you might have lizards to keep them both under control.
