If it says it’s from a spring, it has to be from a spring. There are ways of pretending filtered tap water isn’t tap water, but flat out lying isn’t one of them.
Our water in Louisiana came from the Mississippi River after a trip thru the local water plant. Had a bad taste once when a phenol barge leaked, but otherwise was fine
Our tap water only tastes bad during droughts when the water in the reservoir gets low.I fill a glass pitcher from our tap, loosely cover it and let it sit out on the counter to allow the chlorine to dissipate. It tastes as good or better than any packaged ‘spring water.’.A guy came by once, trying to sell us a water filtration system. He claimed all tap water was “bad.” To prove it, he offered to test our water for sediment. I agreed, but only if he would also test the water from an bottle of Perrier I had..The Perrier will be cleaner, he assured me.Did he receive an education that day!.The Perrier was full of sediment (water from lithium springs usually is) but our tap water left behind barely a trace..

Years ago, on a trip to Mexico, we avoided all tap water but ended up with gastrointestinal distress anyway from the ice in our drinks.
