I want to see the dog use the hula hoop!

Oh, like you didn’t know I would post this..

Psst…. Bev…. I just saw Essex trying to hide out on yesterday’s block of Ballard Street, after the turn….

2old, pretty sure the other two aren’t going to fit in those hoops…But then again, maybe the other three Olympic symbols have just been tossed on the other side of the fence in their gaiety….

I hate to say it, but when it comes to hula-hooping….some dogs cheat.

In fact, somewhere, if I could find it, I have a carefully staged snapshot I took at age 12, of our little mixed breed dog hula-hooping…standing on her hind legs, hoop perfectly balanced…

(by my sister’s hand, just out of camera range on the right…. but don’t tell OK?)

I think it was good practice for eventually living on Ballard Street.

Of course this is right after consuming the mandatory Five Hour Energy Drink…..we all know what happened to Ted on the sixth hour of his run.

Looks to me like she shook a couple of those hoops out of her dress…

At least they are active and appear to be having fun -Totally unlike the Penny’s!

I hope to have lots of fun up at Bumblebee. At least I’ll take my archery stuff (or not) – depends on what fits in his car. I have clothes for both of us in a big tub and 2 baskets (one with dishes and utensils and the other with toiletries and head gear. I already took some frozen stuff and dry food to his house last weekend so everything can be packed in his cooler (his takes less space because my 40qts have wheels).

Ha! Give me strip poker any day…….just don’t play with turkeys.

Yes, I see the inner “loop” and guess that there’s a string attached.

Too young… but then, you guys never mind when the girls are too young….and guys my age don’t hula hoop much!and that hula hoop is…um…. very tiring.

Actually I posted them for their moves more than their looks….but then again, I always went for scrawny long haired mathematicians and poets over athletes.

And anyway they’re children!

I’ve got to get back to my sewing – I want one more tunic to take for my man (he has all the camping gear, but had no medieval clothes). He now shaved his beard (was only for Fiddler performance). I’ve never admired the bodybuilder physique either, but I don’t like a man to be overly thin, just nice and normal looking. My new guy is exactly what I wanted.

More like “games” or “play” enthusiasts. I don’t see a lot of sport in a beach ball and a coupla hula (debatable) hoops. But good for the McCorkels! Even Bertie gets to be outside & jumping around. The family that plays together, stays together.
