I don’t think Verl will get that promotion either.Burl and Joy are the last ones I’ll ask help for anything especially an important letter like that.

Promotion has 3 syllables I wonder if they included it in the letter. It’ll be hard , but I guess they didn’t.I’m just wondering what Verl’s jjob is anyway?

I haven’t been reading DS as long as you folks so this isn’t a rerun for me. I haven’t seen the same one twice yet.

I do like the company also, the comments helps make sense sometimes when the Pennys don’t.

Burl has the distinkt advantage of noing how a boss thinks, very helpful in undercutting his possible response to a letter and being prepared for litltigation in the event of a unjust firing..Thinking about possible content, A letter to the boss using the word ‘gonna’ suggests there is a threat. Could it be a sexual harassment issue……..barf! No that would be Verl’s dream come true, maybe it is lack of harassment no matter her effort and provocative attire..

I’ll be taking a Multifunction Cardiogram tomorrow at my doctor’s (because he wants to give me more reasons to worry- mostly wants me to permanently give up meat and alcohol) I hope the test proves him wrong because I have NO intention of changing.

I AM an omnivore and have no wish/intention to change (I’ll die eventually anyway and I’ll enjoy life while I’m here).

Burl as a proofreader will work out as well as my late Uncle “Shaky” Bob did at the nitroglycerin factory.
