Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
I have a headache, think I’ll wander down to the Tiki and get a warm milk and brandy. Maybe somebody to talk to. Husband is asleep on the couch, he won’t miss me for an hour….
“Russell Haseldorf, that handsome devil, sat, pen in hand, alone in the Blue Room at Cherry Street House Manor, absorbed in the lines he was writing.
He was scarcely aware of his own striking countenance, but an onlooker might certainly have been moved to remark upon the effect his bright red-checked shirt produced upon his sparkling blue eyes…. already set off, as they were, by his silver hair and the deep blue periwinkle of the walls…."
“Russell finishes writing the next line in his autobiography.”“Russell finishes writing the next line in his autobiography.”“Russell finishes writing the next line in his autobiography.”Looks like Russell has made it up to the present in his autobiography.
I was wondering if they got that shot of that high speed turn.(Yea I rolled it) (Just kidding)At high speed driver training I like to hear my trainees squeal in fear. I take the Charger we have down there and do high speed power slides at about 140 or so. High speed drifting is not fast but it is fun.I do like the one with tracks and the mini gun.It would make the group ahead of us let us play through.
The drawing mad me think that he must be dictating to himself; maybe he should get Dragon.
I bought that thinking to write some memoirs, but I think they might . . . be better left unwritten.
Now that my new guy is getting involved with me in SCA and we have to consider clothes for him as well as smaller ones for me (have not been gaining back even now that I’m not totally vegetarian) and need some upgrades to part of the camping stuff (his gasoline stove is difficult for me to light, and I’d rather let him sleep in the morning). I have more time and energy for everything – just NOT memoirs.
Bev… in a way, I think we all have them…. they look like ordinary mirrors… so we don’t realise that our memory is tweaking what we think is our reflection.
Hi Monkey!(If you see this….. )and be careful! You don’t want the Sheriff’s Dept to catch you with a banana dak in your… OH! sigh…. .never mind.
One reason I get less done is because I have too DARN much fun on GoComics and Facebook (where I chat with all my local SCA friends as well as the Hawk watchers all over).
Today I made a new batch of breakfast bars (recipe on that page of Dog) but this time I finally MEASURED who much beet root I’m using and cranberries so I can correct the recipe to share it. SO healthy to have 150gm each of those 2 ingredients and still no sweeteners except the raisons and vanilla, and so much good fiber. I also cooked some chicken breast to freeze and use in salads now that weather is warmer (here – not up where we camped) and blanched some carrots and parsnips to add to my Sprouts canned chilli.
Yesterday I spent part of my online time finding parts for his cookstove and photos of cactus blooming as reference for drawings I shall do on scrolls for “Flower of the Desert” awards. I’m not really lazy- it just looks that way.

Russell has to look in a mirror so he doesn’t forget who he is writing about.

It’s a good idea to get to know your subject before you start writing. Or so Russell has been told.
