harleyquinn, when I was stationed in Alabama in the 60s I heard your spin alot and believed it. I’ve learned a lot since then and even in Alabama a good deal of things have changed. Just the “red-necks” cling to the old saws. How does this qualify you ?

Harleyquinn, it’s hard to take you seriously when you are such an idiot. You’re writing is that of an uneducated moron sputtering about things you know nothing about. You make no sense at all and you probably don’t know what those symbols are (euro, yen, and pound).

HQ – It is very hard to focus on advancing yourself in the world when your main focus is on staying alive. It is also very hard to get ahead when the rich keep pulling up the ladder behind them.

Note: nowhere did I say impossible.

lalas, very good post. PS don’t forget that sometimes that “impossible” takes a several generations to accomplish.

It’s even harder, nowadays, when corporate execs are trying to pull themselves up by your bootstraps.

It’s more like standing on your head to try getting out of the quicksand pit they dragged us all into.
