Transcript:
Boy: Dad, here's the question: "If Sam ran a mile in 21 minutes, 26 seconds, and Carrie ran it in 4 minutes, 35 seconds, what's the difference?" Man: The difference is Carrie is wheezing and sweating like a pig, and Sam is not.
The women’s high school record for the mile is 4:24.11, set by Mary Cain on January 24, 2014. Sounds like Carrie is an exceptional runner. Sam probably stopped by Dunkin Donuts along the way. My best time is 5:21 when I was a young lad of 52.
