I just clicked on Refresh Comments… and a pop-up ad for esurance appeared. Marigold… HELP!!! :o

So if I want to hide from a unicorn, be an advertisement? Also how do unicorns know what brand of coat polish or special feed to buy?

A couple weeks ago, I amazed my kids by being able to recite and/or sing without hesitation a bunch of local commercials from my youth, decades ago. I knew off the top of my head the address of a transmission shop, the directions to a Chevy dealership, the number of registered pharmacists at an all-night drug store and the location and hours of a jewelry outlet.

My message to them: Advertising works.

Let’s not forget “Comet, it makes your hair turn green/Comet, it tastes like gasoline,” or “McDonald’s is your kind of place/they feed you rattlesnakes.”

ads used to have jingles… like all ads…

now all ads have facebook and google trackers..
