    MayK, I think the point is that using a shovel is better exercise than riding on a tractor.

    Good old fashioned work without the fancy machines does better than heading to the gym. And Gary has it correct. Cheaper too than paying the monthly amount to some gym.

    May, cheaper to use old fashioned ways like a gasless mower/tractor. As well as a wheelbarrow to move stuff.plus the two items unlike your mentions help to burn off alot of calories. One does not lose very many calories riding a mower/tractor in comparison. Which is why those with a riding mower/tractor have to waste cash going to a gym. Because of being too lazy and using modern technology instead of muscles.

    And riding around on a mower or a tractor hardly qualifies as exercise does it? A shovel can be had for 20 bucks.
