Pistachios? Pistachios are my favorite tree nut... I've included them in this capsule to preserve them for posterity. If, at the time of this opening, pistachios were endangered or extinct... Futuristic science could hopefully reconstitute them from DNA fragments. A little stale, but not bad... I'm assuming they can get DNA samples from the shells...

Yeah, pistachios can have that effect. I hope those shells will do the DNA job, ‘cause the meat will be all gone very soon! Can’t stop eating them! They are rather expensive here in the USA, but I’ve had them in or from other places, even more (IMO the best ones are those from Iran)….
