You do realize professional golf and various “left turn around a giant oval races” are televised, and I bet there are people who dvr that as well. I don’t see much difference between people who nerd out on baseball stats, players, and fantasy leagues, and those who nerd out on space, nature, and comic con. Whatever rocks your boat or finds your lost remote.
