Man: Look! I found my old band uniform. Woman: Oh, good. Nothing starts my motor like a middle-aged tuba player in a too small uniform and a hat with a plume.
He’s lucky. When I played tuba — sousaphone, to be precise — in the HS marching band, we didn’t get to wear covers at all. We were uncovered when the band wore military hats when I first joined; when we went to the 12" tall busby hats in my senior year, we certainly didn’t get hats then. Someone once suggested that we be given berets to wear just so we had something on our heads like the rest of the band; that never went over, either.

She has some pretty unique kinks. I wonder why the band uniform doesn’t come out more often.

You can leave your hat on.

I detect a possible miss in the motor. I think 3 cylinders are not firing. That’s bad because you got a 4 cyl motor!!!!!

Not so fast there, lady. Remember. Tuba players have really big instruments and good breath control.
