Our small town of 20000 citizens is host to an Ethanol plant that is now expanding to 2 sguare miles area. It will start producing products from DRY WASTE. The major product that is produced here now is Corn Syrup, all, that is not sold as other byproducts, is used for feed for cattle producers. Most of our cattle feed lots are as big as most European towns. The expansion includes an Electrical Power Plant producing power for the US power grid. Incidentally we have two HYDROELECTRIC PLANTS, since 1938, running off of a FLAT LAND RIVER, in Nebraska.

On the ethanol, I have to go with leog. Crummy source of fuel & competes with better uses of the land.
