I remember for a period of several years back in the 80s, our local weather report would give a precipitation probability percent every day. I swear (and I was keeping track) that every time it said 0%, it rained.

One of the local TV prevaricators prognosticators says you can take today’s forecast to the bank; tomorrow’s has about an 80% chance of being right; two days out it’s 50%; anything beyond that is show business.
